XML is used for storing and transporting the data.
This is the self descriptive language.
Version:
There are five editions of the language XML.The first version released in 1998 with the version number 1.0 , This version is released with the five editions with the same number.
Explain:
XML is hard to understand because it based on the descriptive tags which are not predefined.
XML can not do anything.
XML has just the feature to send the data,receive the data,store the data and transport the data.
Xml is just a language wrapped the information in the tags in which receiver and sender name the stored data and the transport thee data.
In XML there are no predefined tags like in HTML the tags are predefined but in XML the tags are defined by the writer he or she can define tags by its own will no predefined tags by the author.
As the new version of the XML invented the older versions are also working.
The XML language versions are still extensible like if you use new version to make the application then the older version still worked on this application.
The major simplifications that made in XML are : It can share data simply.Store data,Available data,platform changes.
