- SQL is stand for structured query language.
- SQL is used to communicate with the database.
- ANSI said that it is the standard language for the database management system.
- SQL is used to update the data and retrieve data.

- There are almost nine versions which are released from the version 8.0
- The first version of the SQL is SQL 8.0 with server 2000 released in the year 2000.
- SQL 9.0 server 2005 released in the year 2005.
- SQL 10.0 server 2008 release in the year 2008
- SQL 10.5 server 2008 R2 release in the year 2008
- SQL 11.0 server 2012 release in the year 2012
- SQL 12.0 server 2014 release in the year 2014
- SQL 13.0 server 2016 release in the year 2016
- SQL 14.0 server 2017 release in the year 2017
- SQL 15.0 server 2019 release in the year 2019
Explain:
- These are the versions of the SQL server which is used to manage the system and data base in the system.
- SQL is basically query base system which is used in the management of the systems.
